Introductions were done. Several new members joined the meeting today. Welcome! Secretary read the minutes from last month’s meeting. A motion was made and accepted on the minutes. Treasurer’s report was read. A motion was made and accepted on the treasurer's report. No correspondence was received.

Old Business:
Pam from the Atlantic City Historical Society will be speaking at our annual outing on Saturday. Representative Barrasso’s aide may come as well. John Lane from South Pass City has a helper who is motivated to seek small mining district information. Glen Lansberry Jr (Chip) mentioned that Representative Lloyd may soon attend a meeting. He also mentioned that Paxton from Encampment may come and he has had no contact yet from Blake. He also found out that the National archives back east have territorial maps along with the mining of Wyoming. He found some 9,000 documents that were digitized from 1905. US minerals are included in these documents.
Glenn Lansberry Sr. reported back on the Green River Walk. It’s a go. It’s not until August so there’s time to plan and organize. Last year the club participated and it was a great success. If you live in the area or not, and would be willing to volunteer some of your time, contact one of the board members and we’ll pass along your information to Glenn.  He also mentioned that he will be holding the two metal detecting treasure hunts during the annual outing on Sunday. The kids treasure hunt will be held from 10-11 and the adults from 11-12.

New Business:
If you are planning to attend the annual outing and plan to arrive on Friday, may we ask for some help with the club’s canopy’s set up? Potluck dinner will be on Saturday at 4:30pm instead of the usual 5pm to accommodate our guest speaker.  Les reminded folks about breakfast on Sunday morning. If you want eggs with your breakfast, it’ll be up to you to bring and cook those at your camp. The club will be serving pancakes and sausage only. If there are leftovers from Saturday’s dinner, they will be served for lunch as folks are packing up to go.

See you at the outing starting Friday through Sunday, June 24th-26th near the Bridge Buster claim. Meeting adjourned @ 11:07am

Karen Schroeder, Secretary
